a real estate investment management firm based in New York City that specializes in senior
housing.
SHP Asset Management is seeking to acquire and/or invest in senior housing
properties across the country, including continuing care retirement
communities (CCRCs), independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing
facilities. Opportunities may be
stabilized, lease-up, value-add or turnaround. New development is not being considered at
this time. SHP Senior Living Services,

is an affiliated property management company, based in Tampa, FL,
that operates all current investments.
SHP Senior Living Services is able to bring to bear many years of operating
experience in evaluating and managing new investments.
From 2001
through 2008, SHP Asset Management managed a senior housing investment fund
for the State of California Public
Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS), the
nation’s largest public pension fund.
SHP Senior Living Services was the property manager for all the
fund’s investments. SHP Asset
Management now manages its own investment capital and acts as principal in
all transactions.
